Dr.
Aluonzi Burani is a senior lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU)
in the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business and
Management. He is a holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Management Science
(Business Management), Master’s Degree in Development Administration and
Management, Bachelor of Human Resource Management (First Class Hons), Diploma
in Public Relations Management (ISMSEB), certificate in Peace Keeping Operation
(UNTO).
He has over 13 years of work experience in
lecturing. Dr. Aluonzi also has enormous experience in management of academics
at University level. He first worked as Head of Department of Human Resource, later
as Head of Department of Business Administration. In 2011, he was appointed as
Director of Academic Affairs in KIU Western Campus, a post he successful served
for 4 years. Apart from lecturing Dr. Aluonzi was appointed Chair of Curriculum
Development and Education Resource Unit at KIU Western Campus managing a
program sponsored by Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI) through
Medical Education Services for All Ugandans commonly known as MESAU Consortium.
Outside
Kampala International University, Dr. Aluonzi worked as a consultant for Cavendish
University in Uganda successfully for two years leaving remarkable milestones,
he also lectured in University of Kigali and is now an external examiner for
Mountains of the Moon University and University of Technology and Management in
Uganda.
Dr. Aluonzi is a
member of Human Resource Managers in Uganda, a founder members of Yumbe
District Foundation for Development initially known as Yumbe District Forum for
Development and the Chair of Board of Directors of Iron Investment and
Construction Company Ltd. He is also a member of the BOD of Nested Savings Ltd.
