ASINGWIRE
ADRINE is a Lecturer in the school law
where he teachesInternational Humanitarian Law, Foundations of
Land Law, and Fundamentals of Criminal Law among others. He also serves as a Senior State Attorney and State Attorney at
the Directorate of Public Prosecutions Kampala Uganda since 2018 where he
handles Prosecution of criminal matters in courts of Law, providing
initial analysis on legal provisions and way forward to police through police
files, Providing legal advice to members of the public (litigants).
Asingwire
worked as Legal Consultant at Strengthening Decentralization for Sustainability
(SDS) Project USAID where he was in charge of Identifying potential subjects
for model social sector ordinance and byelaw development and Coordination of
workshops with stake holders, government and development partners to discuss
and analyze important aspects in the social service sector. Prior to that, he
serves as a Part Time volunteer Advocate at Public Interest Law Clinic
(PILAC)2009, Research Assistant – Human Rights and Peace Centre (HURIPEC)
Makerere (2008), Administrator at Economic Management and Transformation
Program; Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. Among others.
Adrine
holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management and Administration from
Uganda Management Institute, a Masters of Laws from Makerere University, a
Postgraduate Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre and
a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from Uganda Christian University.
He is open minded, dynamic, self-motivated,
result-oriented, resourceful and very organized and coupled with exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player
