Mr. Maximus Kwesiga is an Assistant lecturer at Kampala International University, Western Campus.
He is also a PhD candidate of Philosophy in Environmental Science at same University.
He has a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Development (2008) and a Bachelor of science in Environmental Management (2006) from Kampala International University.
Mr. Kwesiga also works as a Gazetted National Environment Inspector at National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). He worked with Environment Teachers’ Association (ENVITA) as a Research assistant Volunteer.
He has special and keen interest in activities that aim at protecting and conserving the integrity of the biophysical environment.
Mr. Kwesiga holds a number of certificates, i.e. Certificate in Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) from Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) Arusha, Tanzania (2010), Certificate in Environment Inspections (for Gazetted Environmental Inspectors) from National Environment Management Authority (2010), Certificate in Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR) from Plan International-Uganda (2009) and a Certificate in Agro forestry and Vision based planning from Vi-agro forestry project (Masaka / Rakai districts) in 2005.
He has keen interests in research and teaching especially in the areas of environment, health, and sustainable local and global development. He as well holds an interest in social (community) development and empowerment activities, charity, entrepreneurship, business activities and mostly loves prayers.
