Mr. Nasaaga Musa Bashir is an assistant Electrical Lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU).
He has a Masters in Electric Power Systems, Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Houari Boumediene Bab-Ezzouar, Algiers, Algeria obtained in 2015, a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering obtained from the University of Science and Technology- Houari Boumediene Bab-Ezzouar, Algiers, Algeria in 2013. He also has a Certificate of Success in French language perfection, from the University of Algiers, Algeria Centre d’Enseignement Intensif des Langues (C.E.I.L).
Mr. Nasaaga has carried out research in Electrical power systems focusing on its protection, stability, security and reliability. Integration of Volatile Renewable generation in a grid. High Voltage Direct Current transmission (HVDC).
Since 2017, Musa has been an Electrical Engineering lecturer for Power Systems Protection, Power Plant Engineering, high Voltage Engineering and Power systems Management at Kyambogo University. He was also part of
Training in Overhead line construction and maintenance of Electric network in Mukono at Umeme Limited, Mukono district between Aug 2015 to March 2016.
Musa also worked with Cimec Solutions Limited as a Field Service Engineer (2015-2017) and also at Graduate training at GRTE (Gestion du Reseau de Transport de L’ Electricite), Algiers, Algeria as well as End of studies project in making an Auto guided Robot at Usthb, Algiers, Algeria in 2013.
His interests are in sports such as Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis and Chess, reading, travelling and listening to music.
