Ms. Barongo Eleanor Kirahora is a lecturer in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kampala International University.
She is a qualified and competent development practitioner with a dynamic professional career in academia. She has exceptional knowledge of instructional methodology and related technology and thorough knowledge of classroom management.
She has a successful teaching experience in Development Studies currently Department Examination Coordinator in Development Peace and Conflict Studies in Social Sciences at Kampala International University. In the different offices she has occupied she has gained experience in management and administration in the academic setting.
She is a PhD candidate (Development Studies),Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies (2012) and Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies (2010) all awarded by Kampala International University. At Carl Von Ossietzty University in Germany, Eleanor obtained a 2 yrs Diploma in the German Language (2000).
She is also currently working as an Examination Coordinator in the department of Development, Peace & Conflict Studies, overseeing how examinations are managed. This helps in seeing that both the lecturers and students participated well in the exam process.
Eleanor as well carries out research, scholarship and consultancy activities through which she undertakes research and scholarly activities contributing to the research profile of the School and University.
