Mr. Wilber Ntoni is a Senior Laboratory Technologist, Human Physiology Laboratory at Kampala International University (KIU) Western Campus. He held the same position at the KIU campus in Dar es Salaam Campus, Tanzania between 2015- 2018.
Mr. Ntoni has about 10 years of experience of laboratory technology gained from the different institutions he has previously worked with while in Nigeria and a range of trainings he has attended to, before joining KIU.
Notable experiences are that between 2013- 2015, Mr. Ntoni worked with the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology as an Assistant Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist. Between 2011- 2013, he worked with Graceful Oaks Academy in Nigeria as a Class Instructor in the same field. Between 2010- 2011, Mr. Ntoni worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Nobel Laboratory in Nigeria and in 2010, he also worked with the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Training Centre/Institute of Human Virology in Kaduna State- Nigeria in the department of Haematology, Serology, Tuberculosis Microscopy, Mycobacteriology.
Mr. Ntoni has professional memberships in Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) as an Associate Member. Junior Chamber International (JCI) as a City Member and, National Association of Science Technology Students (NASTES) as a Student Member.
He holds Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Science obtained from Mbarara University of Science and Technology in 2015, B.Sc.(Hons) Science Laboratory Technology (Physiology/Pharmacology) obtained from University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State- Nigeria in 2010.
He has strong and good human relations (Communication and Interpersonal relationship) and ability to work in a team as well as outstanding passion for research, multi-tasking adaptability, efficiency in the maintenance and use of laboratory equipment and laboratory experimental facilities, ability to manage conflict within groups.
