KWAGALA PERSIS is currently an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University at the College of Education Open Distance and e-Learning. She has 2 years of teaching experience and research in counseling, education, and Psychology both at bachelor and diploma level. Prior to her appointment to an academic position and while she was pursuing a Master’s degree, she served as an Administrative Assistant at Kampala International University from 2012 up to February 2018 when she was elevated to the level of Assistant Lecturer. Persis holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Kampala International University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Arts in Education) from Kyambogo University. As a Lecturer, she has taught classes in Human Growth and Development, Educational Guidance and Counseling, Introduction to Child Psychology, Career life, and development and Psych trauma counseling. She also serves as a member of the Counseling Committee in the College of Education, Open and Distance Learning.
Persis is focused, hardworking, discreet and a team player. Her teaching styles inspire her students to greatness and she gets on well with colleagues. Her professional goal is to become a Professor of Psychology.
