Mr Ismail Apuri Mukasa is an Information Technology/Lab Attendant at Kampala International University (KIU). He has over two years of experience in assisting persons with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software. He also offers daily operations and systems support to both students and staff, whilst verifying functionality of hardware and software components. Ismail also helps with troubleshooting hardware and software issues both in person and remotely, and assists employees with computer problems while responding quickly when needed. He has also worked as an Assistant Storekeeper /Data Entrant and a Systems Administrator at KIU.
Ismail holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science from Kampala International University, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Uganda Teacher’s College. He has great interpersonal skills, effective leadership skills and excellent counselling skills, is a dynamic team builder, and is quite proficient with his computer skills.
He always looks to acquire new knowledge so as to widen his understanding of global issues, trends, and the forces affecting local and international development.
