Mwebaze Immaculate is the current Librarian at Kampala International University. She has served in that position for the last 5 years thereby amassing experience in the general circulation of books, newspapers, research reports, and magazines both in the reserve section and the reference and circulation desk; documentation of research reports for both graduate and undergraduate students; Library user registration and issuing of library cards. She is the In-charge Head and Supervisor for Reserve Section of the library.
Immaculate holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) from Makerere University Kampala. She is highly skilled with computers, and highly proficient at Microsoft packages Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel, visual basic and Internet (Internet searching tools, web 2.0 applications). She is also highly organizational and effective at time management, prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and possesses the ability to produce reports and presentations to a professional standard.
She enjoys working in a challenging environment, and above all, learning and monitoring the flow of work in the right direction according to the instructions given. She also enjoys playing/singing soft gospel/country music, and is very much interested in meeting and working with people of different cultures and norms.
