Mbabazi Mabazize is currently the Dean of College of Humanities and Social Sciences and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Development, Peace and Conflict Studies, College of Humanities of Social Sciences, Kampala International University.
Mbabazi has a PhD in Development Economics from Nkumba University, Entebbe, Uganda, Master of Science in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education-Economics from Makerere University. His research interests include skills development in the energy sector, capacity needs assessment and development of capacity Building Strategies for poverty, policy and gender analysis and monitoring public expenditure and Agricultural Development (Rural Development), Poverty, Monitoring and Analysis. He has published over 10 academic articles.
As the Dean of College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Mbabazi also chairs all Postgraduate research and has streamlined the postgraduate research process for the college working with the Directorate of Higher Degrees to achieve this.
He is favourably disposed to investing his knowledge and wealth of experience towards shaping the minds of the current and future students as the Institution continues to explore greater heights in Africa and beyond.
