Adeleke Raheem Ajiboye

Research Coordinator, Computer Science Department

Senior Lecturer

Ajiboye Adeleke Raheem, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer and Research Coordinator (Computer Science) at the School of Mathematics and Computing, specifically in the Department of Computer Science at Kampala International University. He is particularly devoted to teaching and Research. He is currently on a foreign mission scheme through the Technical Aid Corps of Federal Government of Nigeria.

He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University Malaysia Pahang, and Master and Bachelor in Computer Science coupled with a Master in Business Administration, all from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Aside his education, he has rich experience in Academia as he was also in charge of Learning and Research and was a System Analyst at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Additionally, his areas of specialization are Data Mining and Computational Intelligence and his research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning & Software Engineering.

Ajiboye has published various articles and papers in both international and national journals, which include but are not limited to the International Journal of Applied Business and Information Systems, the Journal of Information Security, Privacy and Digital Forensic, the Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology, and the International Journal of Information Processing and Communication. He prides himself in the supervision of theses and dissertations of over six Master’s students.

With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Computer Science, he is dutifully making positive impacts in research in his field and mentoring both students and colleagues towards a better future and creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
