Sa’id Sharif Nura is lecturer at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, specifically in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Kampala International University.
He is currently pursuing a Ph. D (In- View) from Johannesburg, has a M. Tech ME from India and a B. Eng. ME KUST, MIA Eng. ISOITSM 20000. Sa’id is a committed Engineer and lecturer with years of experience in academic institutions and Organizations teaching/lecturing students from various spheres of learning: Engineering and information technology, possessing excellent administrative, verbal communication and written skills along with constructive and effective lecturing/teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment. Able to work in a many different roles or as part of team and having the proven ability to successfully work in situations of tight schedules and deadlines.
In addition, some of his research interests include; mechanical, manufacturing, Petro chemical production, Industrial, six sigma, fluid flow control and Quality management systems.
With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the Mechanical Engineering field, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
