Kazibwe Sophia is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs at Kampala International University. She is a Senior Lecturer at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS). Prior to her appointment as DVC-AA, she served as the Deputy Principal of the College.
She was the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs in charge of teaching and learning from 2015 - 2017, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Research from 2014 - 2015.
Kazibwe holds a Ph.D. in Management Science (Public Management), a Master of Human Resource Management from Kampala International University, and a Bachelor of Development Studies from Makerere University. Her research interests include human resource management, gender, Policy evaluation, and enhancing quality in higher education.
She has vast experience in institutional administration, teaching, research, and community engagement. She has 15 years of Administration experience, 13 years of teaching experience, and 10 years of research.
