Wanasolo William, PhD is a lecturer in the Department of Physical Sciences at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University. He has a lot of experience in Academia and has been a lecturer in various reputable institutions, besides that he also has experience working with prestigious Organizations like Total Quality Management Ltd, Uganda and Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd among others.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Chemical and Mining Engineering) from the University of Dar es Salaam, a Master of Science (Analytical and Environmental Chemistry) and a Bachelor of Science (Industrial Chemistry) both of which he attained from Makerere University Uganda, additionally he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Kyambogo University Uganda and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from Makerere University Uganda.
William has also published in several International and local journals among which include; the American Journal of Chemistry and Materials Science, Journal of Africa Leather and Leather Products Advances, Journal of Bioremediation and Biodegradation and the Research Journal of Modeling and Simulation, to mention but a few. He has also co-authored a book titled Industrial Chemistry - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons-Attribution, http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/, License (abbreviated c??cc-byc?), and has presented numerous papers at several conferences like; the 2014 Spring World Congress on Engineering and Technology and the 3 rd. Eastern Africa Research and Innovation Management Association (EARIMA ) among others.
Apart from his professional career, he is actively involved in the community and has various responsibilities he takes on some of which are; being a Member of the finance management committee; Member of audit committee of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel - International), Kampala Uganda as well as being the Constituent Coordinator, Civic Education Program at Manjiya County, Bududa District, Eastern Uganda respectively. Additionally, he is a member of professional bodies like Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the African Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production as well as being the winner of the 2016-to-2018 Postdoctoral research fellowship awarded by Makerere University - Swedish Research Program (Mak-Sida).
William is so accomplished in his field and has years of experience and expertise which make him the right person to guide and shape the bright minds of the future here at Kampala International University where we continue to explore the heights!
