Baineamasanyu Mary is the Acting Director of Admissions at Kampala International University (Main Campus), where she supports student recruitment, admissions coordination, and institutional enrollment processes. She previously served as an administrator in the School of Law at KIU Main Campus (January–April 2024) and spent many years at KIU Western Campus in academic leadership and teaching roles, including Head of Department for Business Administration (January 2014–May 2023). 

With a strong background in business education and university administration, she progressed from Teaching Assistant (2007–2011) to Assistant Lecturer (2011–May 2023) at KIU Western Campus. In these roles, she taught and supervised across core business disciplines such as banking and finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, strategic management, economics, research methods, and business ethics, while also contributing to curriculum development, assessment, examination management, and student academic advising. As Head of Department, she coordinated examinations, course administration, curriculum development, and departmental research activities, ensuring quality delivery and timely reporting.

Baineamasanyu Mary is a PhD Candidate in Business Administration at KIU (2016–date) and holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance & Banking) from KIU, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Makerere University. Her professional strengths include analytical thinking, leadership and mentoring, planning and organization, effective communication, and strong computer literacy across common Microsoft productivity tools.

Her broader experience also includes early career banking practice as a bank cashier at Rushere Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Ltd (2006–2007), strengthening her grounding in finance operations and customer service. She communicates effectively in English and has working proficiency in Runyankitara and Luganda, supporting engagement with diverse stakeholders.
