Bachelor of Laws (Weekend)
Objectives the Programme
The LLB program at the School of Law is designed with the aim of producing excellent graduates capable of taking up strategic responsibilities in advocacy, legal representation, interpretation and application of laws and other legal services. Amongst others, the program aims:
- To prepare students with the required education to be able to investigate the nature and essence of law, legal problems, legal systems, structures, mechanics, and their influences on society.
- To develop among students, relevant skills that can increase their opportunities in providing legal services and contribute to the development of society in all spheres.
- To enable students to develop the skills of advocacy and proper application of law as a tool for social change or influencing change in their communities and other spheres of life.
- To instill sound legal knowledge in persons who require and seek such knowledge for its own sake to broaden their outlook; self-advancement and capacity enhancement in their various callings.
