Master of Science in Environmental Management

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Master of Science in Environmental Management (MScEM) program shall be done in accordance with Kampala International University procedures and regulations in line with the minimum requirements of the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). In addition, a person qualifies for admission provided he/she satisfies minimum requirements of:

  • A Postgraduate Diploma in a closely related field from a recognized University/Institution; OR
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least two years of working experience in a relevant field. Students with first class bachelors do not require any working experience.
  • The relevant disciplines are environmental sciences, biological sciences, physics, chemistry, geography, and selected engineering courses.
  • For other disciplines, the school will decide whether environmental science forms an integral part of determining whether candidates from such disciplines qualify to be admitted to the MScEM Programme.
