LECTURERS AND SENIOR LECTURERS FOR MEDICINE / SURGERY
We seek to recruit suitably qualified staff in the following fields;
1. Lecturers - Medicine and Surgery
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBchB) / Dental Surgery (BDS)
- A Masters degree in Medicine and Surgery or any field of Biomedical Sciences
- Experience in administration is an added advantage
2. Senior Lecturers - Medicine and Surgery
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBchB) / Dental Surgery (BDS)
- A Masters degree in Medicine and Surgery or any field of Biomedical Sciences
- A PhD in Medicine and Surgery or any field of Biomedical Sciences
- Experience of at least 3 Years in Administration is an added advantage
SENIOR LECTURERS FOR NON-MEDICAL FIELDS
We seek to recruit suitably qualified staff within Departments of the following Schools and Colleges;
1. College of Economics and Management
Departments:
i) Accounting and Finance

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a PhD in the relevant field of study
2. School of Mathematics and Computing

- A minimum of a PhD in the relevant field of study
4. College of Education, Open and Distance Learning
Departments:
i) Arts & Science Education
ii) Foundations

5. College of Humanities and Social Sciences

STAFF DEVELOPMENT SCHEME
KIU also seeks to recruit Medical Officers to pursue their postgraduate studies under the University Staff Development Scheme in the following fields:
1. Master of Science in Biomedicals
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Biomedicals / Medicine
- Applicants should be registered with the respective Medical and Dental Practitioners Council or Body in Nigeria
2. PhD in Biomedical Sciences
- A Bachelors degree in Biomedicals / Medicine
- A good Masters degree in Biomedicals / Medicine
- Applicants should be registered with the respective Medical and Dental Practitioners Council or Body in Nigeria.
Note: For the Staff Development Scheme, a modest stipend and accommodation will be provided.
