KIU, Main Campus-KIU Rangers returned to winning ways when they beat Magic Stormers 61-37 on Easter Monday to end a two-game winless run.

Sharon Kirabo inspired the Rangers to victory with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Her performance was instrumental in the much-deserved and highly-needed victory. She was voted player of the game afterwards.

Florence Nanyonga followed on the high scorer's list with 12 points, three rebounds, and three steals, Mary Amaniyo Moses managed six points and eight rebounds. Stella Nanfuka was also in a brilliant mood, managing five points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.

This was Joseph Chuma's first game in charge as interim coach for KIU Rangers. The victory means Chuma begins his tenure on the right side of things and will look to do more better in the next fixture.
