Titans Earn Sweet Revenge over KCCA

Titans needed a strong second-half performance to overcome KCCA Panthers in a 79-66 thriller at YMCA Court on Saturday evening.

The Titans, who were trailing 40-31 at halftime, turned the game around in the third quarter and went on to make it 11 wins in as many games since losing to the same team in April.

The Titans scored 48 points in the second half and limited KCCA to only 26 to ensure they had earned sweet revenge against Raymond Muhumuza's Panthers.

Pierre Kasereka Tembo was magnificent from the perimeters, playing a pivotal role in KIU Titans triumph over KCCA.

The Congolese International scored the game's highest 29 points, including seven three-pointers from 12 attempts and three layups from five attempts.

Three other Titans scored in double figures, with Edgar Munaba and Juf Mpiya registering 11 points each and Joel Lukoji Banza scoring 10.

KIU Titans next play City Oilers on Friday, June 28th at Lugogo Indoor Arena while KIU Rangers will entertain KCCA leopards on the same date.
