KIU, Main Campus-Three referees based at KIU main Campus have had their FIFA badges successfully renewed. Joel Munyendoh Chote for beach soccer, Mashood Ssali for football, and Ssengendo from futsal will once again be able to officiate games across Africa.

The most traveled of all is Joel Munyendoh who has so far moved to many countries to officiate the African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations Championship. Now that his badge has been renewed, he is set to explore many other countries while on duty.

Munyendoh who also doubles as a university sports administrator remains a huge inspiration to students at KIU especially those enthused with the sport. Taking his craft to the international stage was simply a dream come true.

His personality is instrumental to the well-being of KIU'S sports fraternity and the fact that he has started living his dream, so many people continue to be inspired.

The FIFA badge authorizes one to officiate anywhere in the world with consultation and approval of the domestic football governing body like FUFA for Uganda. This badge is renewed annually.
