KIU Titans Hit Century In UPDF Riot, Fans Won Next Opponent

KIU Titans have all reasons to jubilate after a triumphant Easter Weekend with a thumping 100-51 victory over UPDF Tomahawks on Holy Saturday,8th April 2023.

The Titans scored 100 points in response to the fan's request for only 100 points. The fans who rose to their feet as Brian Opio scored a historical last-second three were excited by the score line upon which they warned the next opponent including the noisy neighbors.

The Titans dominated in all the quarters despite appearing to relax in the third quarter. Thanks, the boys quickly realized what was at stake and turned the game on its head in the fourth quarter.

The Titan's display of another piece of beautiful basketball was proof that the team is improving every day and could soon become unbeatable. For the first time this season, all players for KIU Titans got on the score sheet, and at least five Titans scored in double figures.

Amisi Saidi Danny alias Carmelo was the team's highest scorer with 15 points followed by Joseph Chuma, Peter Obleng, innocent Ochera, and Brian Opio with 13,12,11, and 10 respectively.

KIU Titans Captain, Joseph's Chuma who looked close to his very best was instrumental in the Titan's Triumph against the Tomahawks. The captain led in rebounding with nine rebounds and having scored 13 points, he was indisputably voted man of the game.

Arthur Wanyoto was the game's overall lead scorer with 16 points and he was the only UPDF player with double figures but all that did not help the Army side.
