KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University is set to give a 50% tuition waiver to all postgraduate students starting from August intake 2022, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo has announced. 

While appearing on prime news bulletin NTV Tonight earlier this week, the Vice Chancellor noted that this is aimed at revamping the education system which was greatly affected by the strict COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

"As part of our social corporate responsibility KIU will give out 50% tuition waiver to all our postgraduate students regardless of where they come from.''  Dr. Mpezamihigo said.

He called upon everybody to embrace the opportunity and take up this advantage and come for Kampala International University Postgraduate Program trainings in support of the losses incurred during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Dr. Mpezamihigo went ahead to appeal to students, parents and guardians to work with teachers to create remedial interventions like extra classes to bridge the gap of content coverage created by students automatic promotion to another class.
