KIU, Main Campus-Reagan Kaddu, the immediate past President of the KIU Law Society is the Guild President elect for the Law Development Center, Mbarara Campus.

Kaddu had 154 votes while his closest opponent, Marvin Ssenyonga gathered 117 votes.

At least all the Law Development Center campuses had a KIU Alumus competing for the top most position with Natamba Pascal and Isaout James making unsuccessful attempts at Kampala and Lira Campuses respectively.

Kaddu who graduated from KIU at the 27th graduation ceremony in June has attributed his success to KIU where he gained confidence as President of the KIU Law Society between 2021 and 2022.

"KIU really groomed me to be the man and a leader I am today," Kaddu said after being declared winner on Monday.

"It really feels great to be exploring the heights in leadership and I want to use the opportunity to thank everyone who supported me in this pursuit," he added.

KIU has established itself as a centre for nurturing future leaders through world-class mentorship programs, leadership experiences and an open space for innovation that has seen several graduates prosper after graduation.

Kaddu's victory adds to the great Milestones KIU is celebrating this week after the triumph of Journalism students in the National Newsroom Contest.
