KIU, Western Campus – The Campus Megafest at KIU Western Campus returns this year after a 4-year hiatus and it is already stirring up excitement in Ishaka Town.
The event, which used to be organized every year, was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, just like most public gathering events.
The fest , which will be held on August 25, is being hosted by Ishaka Community Church, a popular worship center for students from KIU Western Campus and will be held at the KIU Western Campus grounds.
According to Joel Mulungi, one of the members of the Organizing Committee, the event is a worship, inspirational and entertainment bonanza.
“It's mostly about encouraging the young campusers by giving them hope to push on by presenting God to them plus career guidance, as well as fun in Jesus’ name through music, dance and drama,” Mulungi says.
The Campus Megafest will be graced by one of Uganda’s finest gospel musicians Coopy Bly plus John Marie and Paul Selah.
