Kampala International University has registered a total of 22 first-class degrees awarded to graduands at the universityc?cs 23rd graduation ceremony on Saturday, April 24.
This was revealed during Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mouhamad Mpezamihigoc?cs speech at the virtual graduation ceremony.
c?Among the Bachelor's Degree holders, 22 have distinguished themselves above their colleagues by obtaining First Class degrees,c⬝ Dr. Mpezamihigo said.
c?We congratulate them in a special way, with each one being issued a Certificate of Merit for their outstanding performance,c⬝ he added.
Of these, Information Technology and Development Studies each got 4 first-class degrees, Business Administration got 3, Tourism and Hotel Management, and Public Administration each got two, with Social Work and Social Administration, Science in Statistics, Computer Science, Law, International Relations, Industrial Chemistry, and Economics and Applied Statistics each getting one first-class degree.
The best overall student was Fred Nyanzi who got a CGPA of 4.63 in Bachelors in Economics and Applied Statistics.
