KIU.Main Campus- KIU Titans and Rangers will tomorrow 7th December 6, 2022 award 10 fans who were the most loyal in the 2022 NBL season. The awards ceremony organized by Nasser Serunjogi, the president of the KIU basketball clubs will take place at the MTN Arena in Lugogo starting from 10 am EAT.

Both KIU Titans and Rangers finished the season in the fourth place and the fans played a great role in boosting the morale of players at times during moments when they would have thought of giving up. However, according to President Nasser Serrunjoji, it is the 10 most loyal fans that will be awarded with gifts that have not been disclosed.

‘’We shall be giving out some gifts sets to the 10 most loyal fans of the season. This is an exercise that we shall be doing every year,’’ he said.

KIU Basketball has one of the fastest-growing fan bases in NBL and it is hoped that motivations like this will help strengthen the green fan base as well as attract so many others to the camp.

Fahad Kyazze, the president of the KIU basketball fans association who is among the favorites to win the most loyal fan award recently vowed to turn the whole of Kansanga green. Kyazze said that his team is working hard to have as many fans as possible next season.

Other fans expected to feature in the top 10 list include Dornam Amumpaire, Peace Mwambu, Mark Manzi, Isaac Wamala among others.

Both the Titans and KIU Rangers are looking to come back stronger to challenge for the NBL title next season.
