KIU Chancellor Prof Mahmood Mamdani to be Inaugurated on August 13

KIU, Western campus câ¬â€œ The newly appointed Chancellor for Kampala International University, Prof. Mahmood Mamdani will be officially inaugurated on Thursday, August 13, in a ceremony to be held virtually via Zoom.

Prof. Mamdani, who was appointed in July, will be inaugurated in a ceremony to be presided over by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Kampala International University, Al-Hajj Hassan Basajjabalaba.

According to the programme for the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Mouhammad Mpezamihigo will introduce Prof Mamdani and also close the ceremony, immediately after remarks from the new Chancellor.

The ceremony will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM East African Standard Time.
