Kampala International University's (KIU) football team is gearing up for an intense match against Uganda Christian University (UCU) at 3:00 PM today as part of the ongoing University Football League (UFL).

KIU enters this game with a wave of confidence following their recent victory. They triumphed over Kumi University with a 2-0 scoreline in a home game on October 7, 2023. It's worth noting that KIU had started the season on a slightly shaky note, losing 1-0 in an away match against Busitema University in September.

Coach Geoffrey Akabwai and his team are a work in progress, and their performance against Kumi University showcased their potential as they strive to make history in the University Football League.

Nevertheless, they face a formidable UCU side that not only enjoys the advantage of playing at home but also boasts an impressive unbeaten record this season. UCU's most recent victory was a resounding 7-0 win over Busitema University just two weeks ago.
