KIU, Main Campus - Kampala Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago has
today returned to Uganda after his discharge from Nairobi Hospital where he had
been admitted for treatment.
Lukwago was last month admitted to Nairobi Hospital after being
diagnosed with acute anaphylaxis which became persistent on treatment. However,
he was nursed back to good health and is now stable and back on his feet.
"A horrifying experience it has been, but I'm glad that
finally, I'm out of the woods and now back on my feet," he tweeted.
With this, the Mayor glorified the Lord for the gift of
life.
"Glory be to the Lord for His grace, blessings and gift
of life," he added.
On Friday, the Lord Mayor expressed his grief upon hearing
the sad news of the death of Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata who passed on at International
Hospital Kampala (IHK) on Friday, 4th December.
"The sad news of the demise of Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata
Batte has reached me here at my sickbed at the Nairobi Hospital and I feel
extremely devastated. Life is nothing else but vanity," tweeted Lukwago on
Friday.
