KIU, Main Campus - In preparation for the Festive season, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has announced promotional discounts for tourists from December, 2020 to March, 2021.
The discounts will be available for destinations like Queen Elizabeth National Park(NP), Kidepo Valley NP, Semuliki NP, Lake Mburo NP, Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve, Toro Semuliki Wildlife Reserve and Katonga Wildlife Reserve.
Lilly Ajorava the Executive Director of Uganda Tourism Board was happy to learn UWA's new development as the festive discounts will not only attract more tourists, but also revive the tourism industry that had lagged behind due to the COVID-19 total lockdown.
"This is a great move by Uganda Wildlife Authority," she said.

Chimpanzee tracking permits were also reduced from USD 150 to USD 100 for East Africans and foreign residents and USD 200 to USD 150 for foreign non-residents.
