KIU, MAIN CAMPUS- An academic journey has never been a straight line and work life doesn't get easier. Sumayo Hassan Mohamed describes her academic journey as a perfect blend of highs and lows.
"Achieving high grades, gaining a deeper understanding of complex theories, or receiving positive feedback brings moments of elation. Simultaneously, encountering failures, grappling with tough subjects, or feeling overwhelmed by the workload. Overall, it was a great experience," revealed Mohamed.
Despite all this, Sumayo Hassan Mohamed a Kampala International University (KIU) graduand is determined to defy all odds and conquer the world with his Finance and Accounting Bachelor's degree.
She plans to conquer the world, Mohamed said she is considering several professional avenues to further her career and personal development.
"One option involves pursuing a master's degree to enhance my knowledge and expertise in my field of study. Concurrently, I am contemplating the pursuit of an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification," Mohamed said.
Additionally, she contemplates entering the workforce to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during his academic journey.
With so much to look forward to, Mohamed also noted that she is pleased to have pursued his Bachelor's at KIU due the diversity of the university.
"I would have missed the exposure to a diverse community which has broadened my worldview. Not attending KIU could have meant missing out on the practical, real-world experiences and skills that go beyond theoretical education," she added.
