KIU Guild Union Announces Date for Chief Fresher Elections

KIU, Main Campus – The KIU Guild Union Electoral Commission released the roadmap for the 2024-2025 Chief Fresher Elections on Monday, with the elections scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th,2024.
The winner of the Chief Fresher Elections will represent all Year One students in the Guild Union for one year.
Picking of nomination forms commenced on Tuesday and will continue until 5:00 PM on Thursday.
The fully filled nomination forms are to be returned on Friday, September 13th, which is also the day when the screening of candidates will take place.
The successful candidates will be given an opportunity to speak to their potential voters on Monday, September 16th, a day before the elections.
In addition to voting, the declaration of winners is also scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th, 2024.
