KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University is set to hold a Trade Bazaar 2022 Edition this month, a KIU Guild Union official confirmed.
According to Hon ldd Mubarak Karuhanga, the Minister of Trade, Investment and Transport, this year's KIU Trade Exhibition will take place starting from 28th February to 14th March 2022 at the KIU Main Campus parking yard.
Hon Karuhanga said that this going to be a unique trade exhibition since the university has been not able organise any trade exhibitions since 2019 because of the impact of COVID-19.
He added that as an annual routine within the university community, this will enable students, especially new ones to purchase goods and services inside the university premises, instead of struggling to get them elsewhere as some of them might be new to the environment.
Hon Karuhanga further stressed that traders and organizations that are willing to participate in this year's exhibition should apply to the university management in order obtain approval to showcase their products and/or services to students and staff for the period of time stipulated.
KIU Trade Bazaar comes with lots of exhibitions, sales, saloon works, lots of companies selling at cheap and wholesale prices, banking services, products like sodas, clothes, kitchenware, make up, chicken, chips, chaps and many others.
