KIU, Main Campus-Students from various colleges and Schools are today voting for their representatives in the 2023/2024 Guid Union Parliament. The Voting exercise kicked off at 9:00 AM and will close at 4:00 PM today.

Each student is required to carry a University identity card or a green card in order to cast their votes.

The most competitive constituency in this election is the school of law where seven candidates want to become members of the Guild Union Parliament. The same school has at least three candidates who have shown interest in running for President of the Guild Union.

Winners from today's election will be declared immediately after the voting exercise stops at 4:00 PM. It is only the successful candidates at the college level who are eligible to apply for Guild Presidency and the process to choose the next Guild President will officially begin after the declaration of successfully elected Members of Parliament this evening.
