KIU, Main Campus - Students of the Kampala International University January intake 2021 have been successfully oriented and introduced to rules and regulations that govern the Idd Basajjabalaba Memorial Library (IBML). This was during day two of their orientation that took place place on 2nd March 2021.

David Muyindo, the Reference and Circulations Librarian, urged the new students to be keen and mindful, and also to be cautious in regards to their personal property.

He went ahead to encourage them to learn new things in order to permanently change their bahavour based on experience.

"You should organise yourself to learn and our staff are here to provide you with the most convenient environment for you to learn," he said

Muyindo added that students have to seek for skills that will eventually help them in accessing information.

''Although learning can take place anywhere, the library remains the best among those as supporting environment with no noise, proper sitting arrangement one person per table due to COVID-19," he said.

The Iddi Basajjabalaba Memorial Library (IBML) provides access to library resources and many user-based modern services like renewal of books, book purchase suggestions, creation of custom resource list, tagging, place holds, and advanced search options among others.
