KIU, Main Campus - The KIU Bunyoro Kitara Student's Association has got new leaders after a successful election that took place last week on Friday 21st May 2021 at the KIU main campus in Kansanga.

According to Francis Galimaka Atwooki, the Ag. Chairperson Electoral Commission KISA-KIU, the exercise went on successfully through strict observation of standard operating procedures to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The newly elected leaders include, President Alinganyira Wilfred, Vice President Tumwesige Ronald Akiiki, Prime Minister Ayebale Jovia, Finance Minister Mwebaze Emmanuel, General Secretary Nsiimere Rita, Speaker Mukiibi Emmanuel, and Project Manager Kyamanywa Seif Fahad.

Others include; Foreign Affairs Ahumuza Muzamiru, Masindi Representative Nyakato Esther, General Duties Barongo Nobert, Sports Minister Aguma Anold, Kikuube Representative Atugonza Sumaya, Kagadi Representative Byaruhanga Constantine, Constitutional Minister Akugizibwe Gloria, Information and Publicity Tuhaise Frank.

KISA-KIU brings together students from Bunyoro Sub-region from; Hoima, Kibale, Masindi, Kagadi, Kakumiro and Kilyandongo districts.
