KIU NRM Chapter President Elect Calls for Unity Among the Party Members

KIU, Main Campus - The Kampala International University National Resistance Movement Chapter President Elect, Hon. Praise Bosco Tumuramye, has called on students and party members to remain united in the post elections period. 

He made the remarks in his massage to wish the KIU community and NRM party members a happy Easter holiday. He said that while we all are aware that the week we have bugun is holy, one should emulate the lessons that come inorder for us to remain together.

Tumuramye, who confertably won a hotly contested race of two with over 100 votes at the beginning of this month, asked members to warm up and actively participate in the different party programs and activities that are lineup like inducting of new members.

He pointed that his regime will open a bank account to ensure safety of party funds and also attracting funds from the Secretariat the party well-wishers.

He is optismictic that his team will attract new members into the party, most especially the youth. 

"We need new members to subscribe in the chapter and in NRM party in general," he said.

Tumuramye pointed at some of the benefits that come with joining the chapter like attending cadre leadership trainings at the National Leadership Institute - Kyankwanzi to empathize the NRM ideology.

He applauded the university top leadership and management for giving them a condusive environment to enable free participation in their political affiliations.

Tumuramye is currently a post graduate student of human resource having graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. He served as a member of the Guild Union and emerged the best male MP Computing.
