KIU, Main Campus – The KIU female basketball team, Rangers today face off with the Nkumba Lady Marines at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

Rangers, who will be seeking their third consecutive win after an impressive start to the new season, will be favourites to roll over a Nkumba side against whom they have an impressive record.

The Rangers defeated seasoned title contenders A1 challenge 61-55 in their last game, which was played on Sunday while they also defeated fierce rivals KCCA Leopards 67-63 on the opening day of the season.

Rangers will be expected to mount a title challenge this season after falling short last year, with their inconsistency to blame for the topsy-turvy season they had.

However, if they can get this victory and manage to string up three straight wins, it will go a long way in instilling the belief required in the players to challenge for the title.

The game kicks off at 6:30 pm.
