KIU, Western Campus – KIU Western Campus Pharmacy students are set for the grand finale of their inter-class soccer gala, which will take place during the Pharmacy week which kicks off on March 28.

The students under their umbrella association Kampala International University Pharmacy Students Association (KIUPSA) organized the sports gala, which has been taking place over the weekends.

According to the president of KIUPSA Michael Daniel Funda, the sports gala is aimed at engaging students beyond the classroom, promoting talent and bringing out togetherness amongst students.
It kicked off on January 29 with inter-class football matches. 

According to Funda, the winning team will receive prizes and a he- goat for a celebration gather up, after the final is played at the end of the pharmacy week.

The semi-finals were played on Saturday February 20 with Diploma in Pharmacy 3.1 beating Diploma in Pharmacy 3.2 to progress to the final, where they will meet Bachelor of Pharmacy 2.1 who beat Bachelor of Pharrmacy 4.1.

KIUPSA is a Student's Association that brings together KIU Students offering Bachelors and Diploma in Pharmacy at KIU Western Campus.
