On Saturday, July 26^th, 2025, I will be graduating with a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Kampala International University (KIU), a milestone that reminds me of my incredible and memorable experience at Uganda’s leading private university.

One of the most significant moments during my time at the university was completing my first major group project. This experience allowed me to apply the knowledge I had gained in class, collaborate effectively with my peers, and develop essential time management skills. It was a turning point that enhanced both my academic and interpersonal abilities.

Throughout my academic journey, I have experienced substantial personal and professional growth. I have learned to manage my time efficiently, work productively in teams, and approach challenges with practical problem-solving strategies. These skills will boost my confidence and better prepare me for a future career in project planning and management.

Some of my most cherished memories include building lasting friendships, working on collaborative assignments, and participating in campus events and intellectual discussions. I also found great value in spending time in the library, where I explored new knowledge daily. These experiences have made my university life both meaningful and enjoyable.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my lecturers, classmates, and the entire university community for their continuous support. I am especially thankful for the scholarship I received, which enabled me to concentrate on my studies and pursue my goals with dedication. I am truly grateful for the knowledge, connections, and experiences I have gained throughout this journey. They have shaped my outlook and will remain a valuable part of my life going forward.

As I graduate this Saturday,  I will be celebrating this tremendous milestone with my loved ones. I am excited for the opportunities ahead and am ready to make a positive impact in my community.
