Oluwole Olumuyiwa Afolabi is a Web Administrator for Kampala International University (KIU)- Uganda.
Oluwole has more than a decade of experience of working in international setting, and has over time built his proficiency in PHP and MySQL Programming language, JavaScript, and Ajax. He has proficient skills with CSS, Self-Developed Content Management System (C), Microsoft Office Packages, CorelDraw, and a very good understanding of the use of the Adobe Creative Suite.
Between 2003 and 2010, Oluwole worked with different large scale institutions in Nigeria as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Web Developer. Around the same period, he also worked as a teacher of Fine Art in different schools in Samaru Zaria and Taraba States in Nigeria. In 2010, he worked with Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in Jalingo Taraba State for NYSC Service as a Transmission Director. For the love of performing a number of tasks at the same time, Oluwole also worked with NTA for only one year and later started his freelance work again, where he worked with various companies such as CASHVALUE Limited, Confluence Cable Network Limited in Lokoja, Kogi State, and Federal University Lokoja as a Web and Brand Developer, Graphic Artist and a Principle Programmer respectively, before he joined KIU in 2019.
He has a Bachelor's Degree in. Fine Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Art History from the same University.
Some of the honors he has include an honors of First Position in Ceramics category, and First Position in Graphics category that he got during the First Ondo & Ekiti States Children's Art Exposition organized by the office of Hon. Engr. (s) Janet F. Adeyemi and MEDIAKNIGHTS Communications Nigeria Limited in 2002.
Oluwole has obtained professional certifications including; PHP OOP: Object Oriented Programming for Beginners - Certificate of Completion from UDEMY- 2018, Online Cambridge Certified Web Publisher from Cambridge Intercontinental University- 2010, and a Diploma in Advanced Web Development from ECAND Nig. Ltd- 2009.
