RUTH TUMWIJUKYE KOMUNDA is a Lecturer at Kampala International University. She is experienced in administration with strong interpersonal, computer application, communication, management of inventory, and payroll management skills. At the university, she lectures on Public Policy Management, Project Planning and Management, and Real Life Projects.
Komunda holds a Masters Degree in Management Studies with a specialization (Human Resource Management), and a Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management which she obtained from the Uganda Management Institute in 2011 and 2009 respectively. She also possesses a Bachelorcâ?¬â?cs Degree in Public Administration which awarded by Kampala International University (KIU) in 2005.
She has also achieved a Certificate in Computer Application from Makerere University, and a Certificate in Administrative Officerscâ?¬â?c Law Course form the Law Development Center in Kampala. Komunda has attended trainings and workshops including the 2010 Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Training of Trainer Workshop at the Uganda Management Institute, and a training on Mentoring and Coaching held at the Institute of Advanced Leadership-Uganda. She has also participated in the trainings/workshops of Advanced Research Methodology for Doctoral Students, the Philosophy of Knowledge, and the Pedagogy Training all held at the Kampala International University in 2016.
Komunda is a member on the committee responsible for evaluating or improving teaching, a member Curriculum Development Committee for the Universitycâ?¬â?cs Department, and a member on the Examination Moderation Team.
She enjoys reading information material, socializing, reading, and travelling.
