Mr. Nasaba John Ceasar is an assistant Lecturer at the School of Engineering and applied sciences, Kampala International University since September 2019 (KIU).
He has over three (3) years industrial experience in a busy plastic and steel manufacturing industry and engagements in research in multiphase flow systems which has enabled him to gain expertise and working experience in the fields of experimental design and operation, plastics manufacture, computational and experimental fluid dynamics and human resource management.
He holds a Masters of Technology in Chemical Engineering – Petroleum science and Technology obtained in 2018 from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He also has a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Chemistry which he obtained in 2013 from Makerere University.
He received various trainings and certificates from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati like, Certificate in Physical Modelling of Multiphase Processes in Mineral and Chemical Processing. Global Initiatives of Academic Networks (2017), Certificate in Multiphysics coupling in Energy storage. Global Initiatives of Academic Networks (2017), and a Certificate in Integration of Molecular Design to Process Simulation for Development of Industrial Chemical Products and Processes. Global Initiatives of Academic Networks (Gian) in 2016.
Mr. Nasaba also received a Certificate in CFD Analysis of Heat Transfer and Fluid flow problems using FEM and FVM from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad in 2017 and a Certificate in Computer Applications from Makerere University School of Social Sciences in 2008.
Between 2013- 2016, he worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Roofings Rolling Mills Ltd, and between 2017- 2018, he worked as a teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
Mr. Nasaba has done a number of publications and attended conferences like, John C. Nasaba & Anugrah Singh. Axial and radial patterns of bi-dispersed suspension in a fully filled horizontal rotating cylinder and, Proceedings of the 7th International & 45th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP) December 10-12, 2018, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India.
