Ms. Namata Ssimbwa Gladys is a Statistics lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU), since 2011.

She holds a Master of Statistics obtained in 2007 from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Makerere University-1999, a Bachelors of Statistics obtained in 1997, a certificate from CompuSmart Computer Institute.

Ms. Namata was also a lecturer at Makerere University between 2010-2013.

She was also a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher at Old kampala SSS, Kasubi SSS and St. Mbaagacâ?¬â?cs College.

While at Old Kampala S.S.S, Ms. Namata was the Head of Mathematics Department between 2004 câ?¬â?? 2016, an Academic Committee Member-Science Representative 2007- 2015 and a Staff representative on Parents- Teachers Association, PTA 2015- To date.

She was born on 18th September, 1966 in Wakiso district and she is married.
