Assoc. Prof: Jude Unimdebeshi Bassey holds a PhD in Management (Production) from Ebonyi state University, an M.Sc in Finance and MBA from the University of Calabar and a B.Sc (Hons) from University of Cross River (now University of Uyo). He had his secondary Education from Government secondary school Obudu in 1985. Primary education was from Central school 2 Igoli Ogoja. After graduation, he did his national service with the department of Budget and planning Governor's office Oshogbo Osun state.

He started his career with the Polytechnic Calabar before moving to the Industry where he worked as an Asset and Stocks Accountant for five years before returning to the classroom as a lecturer with the Cross River University of Technology . He had been teaching courses like Business Maths, Statistics, Production Management, International management, Quantitative Analysis, Decision Analysis, Operations management, corporate Finance, Management theory, Business Ethics, Financial management and others.

He has held positions like Exams officer, certificate verification officer, Head of department to both Business and Accounting department, Sub Dean of the faculty and students Affairs, Post graduate Faculty Representative and member of the university Senate. He equally served other institutions like the center coordinator NYSC entrepreneurship training center Ogoja, Resource person National Open University Calabar center, and adjourn lecturer Kwararafa University Wukari.Currently he is with Kampala international University, teaching courses in the Higher degree level. He has published over 30 articles in local and international journals in the area of Management, operations, Economics and Finance.
