Dr. Kiweewa Emmanuel is the Deputy Director Academic Affairs (Teaching & Learning), and a Senior Lecturer in the College of Economics and Management at Kampala International University (KIU). He is a self-motivated educationist and researcher specialized in management and economics with a teaching experience of 14 years at university level. He possesses extensive experience plus practical knowledge and skill in teaching, research supervision, assessment, curriculum design and Quality Assurance. He has served and participated in university management in the capacities of Faculty Administrators, HOD, Associate Dean, Dean of Faculty and Deputy Registrar.
Dr. Kiweewa holds a PhD in Management Science, a Master of Arts in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts with Education (Econ. Major), all from Kampala International University. He has also attained a Diploma in Information technology from Natete Community Vocational Training Centre and Certificates from short trainings on Millennium Development Goals, Data Analysis Using SPSS, Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, Research Methods and Teaching methods.
He also participates in research undertakings (both academic and applied), publishes research output in form of journal articles, supervises academic research and is a consultant in research, data analysis, entrepreneurship and small business start-up. He is a Member of the International Network for Researchers and Policy Makers on Poverty Issues (PEP), a Member in the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), a Members and Tutor of the Wadhwani Foundation Global Entrepreneurship Education.
Dr. Kiweewa possesses excellent interpersonal, coordination and communication skills that enable him to work-well with people of different backgrounds and cultures. He also works well individually, monitors self-action, and continuously raises standards to higher levels for customer satisfaction beyond expectation.
