Wakutile Anthony Godwin (PhD Candidate) is an Assistant Lecturer in the College of Education, Open, Distance and E learning, (CEODL), Kampala International University. Wakutile Anthony Godwin lectures and does research in Higher Educational Assessment, Educational Policy and Educational Management, Higher education, Sociology of Education, History of Education in East Africa and any mathematical related course units, Science and ICT.
Wakutile graduated in Bachelor of Education in Primary Education Majoring in Mathematics and ICT from Busoga University in 2016 with a first class honours degree and obtained Master of Education in Educational Management and Administration from Kampala international university with a CGPA of 4.66 in the 22nd Convocation. Wakutile obtained a postgraduate diploma in Education management, planing and administration from Kampala International University with a CGPA of 4.50 in its 23rd Convocation. He has further enrolled and on course of study leading to award of a PhD in Management Science- Educational Management.
Wakutile Anthony Godwin is an E-Tutor, with a certificate in E-Tutoring and Postgraduate Certificate of E-Tutoring from Makerere University. He has obtained a certificate in Commonwealth Digital Education Leadership Training in Action from Commonwealth of Learning, a Certificate in Digital Literacy from Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology, a certificate in Consultancy Skills Development from Uganda Management Institute, a diploma in computer science and information communication from Institute of Academics and Vocational Studies, Kyotera and a Bachelor of Teacher Education from Kyambogo University.
Prior to his appointment as Assistant Lecturer, Kampala International University (KIU) in March 2021, he was and is the Head teacher of a Primary School and also a Tutor at Butiru Primary Teachers College in Manafwa District, Uganda. He was a Teaching Assistant at Busoga University, Mbale Study Centre before it's licence was revoked by NCHE. He also served in Kampala international university, Tororo Study centre before it was recalled to the main campus.
Wakutile possesses a number of skills including experience in Consultancy, E-Tutoring, quantitative and qualitative research supervision, the ability to perform, mobilisation and leadership, flexibility, competence in English, Luganda, Lusoga, and Lumasaba languages, and enjoys the practice of farming in his free time.
Wakutile Anthony Godwin is happily married to Kwaga Betty and they have been blessed with Eight children; Wakuma Brian Eddie, Masibo Brilliant, Sitawa Bright, Nelima Bride-Emir, Khamuka Brimer, Waninda Brim, Namae Bride-Becky, Wakutile Brighton and Nelima Bride. His ancestral home is in Namisindwa District, Bubulo East Constituency, Nabitsikhi Sub county, Bumusomi Parish, Khatwelatwela Village.
