Dr.. Kelechi John Ukagwu

Senior Lecturer

Ukagwu Kelechi John, PhD is a senior lecturer and a (Technical Aid Corp Volunteer) in the Electrical and Telecommunication department at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University, where his roles include; researching, mentoring and guiding students.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Physics from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, a Master of Science (MSc.) in Physics Electronics and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics Electronics both of which he attained from the University of Benin. John is a teaching expatriate and as such has experience teaching in various Education institutions ranging from Secondary schools to Universities, besides that he also has working experience with companies like Wiselift Investment Limited, where he was a business consultant.

Additionally, he has published in various international and local journals among which include; the African Multidisciplinary Journal, Nigeria Journal of National Association of Mathematical Physics (JNAMP), Journal of National Association of Mathematical Physics (JNAMP) and the International Journal of Science and Technology (IJS&T), to mention but a few. He has also attended several workshops and conferences like the 1st National Conference in Science-commerce-Health-Education-Management-Engineering & Environment (SCHEME 2018). Emerging Technologies and its Impacts on National Industrial Revolution and Economic Growth, School of Engineering and Sciences D.S. Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Ogun State, Nigeria.

John has also supervised a couple of masters students and is in the process of co-supervising a PhD student, he is also a member of the Doctoral Committee.

He has a firm foundation in Academia and also possesses the experience, expertise and skills to shape the bright minds of the future generations here at Kampala International University where we continue to explore the heights!
