Mr. R. Monikandan is a highly experienced Finance and Accounting Professional with over 15 years of experience in financial accounting, budgeting, fund management, taxation, financial reporting, audit support, and financial compliance across higher education and corporate sectors.
He currently specializes in Financial Auditing and Compliance in Higher Education Institutions, with extensive experience in reviewing financial systems, assessing internal controls, verifying accounting records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting accurate financial reporting. His expertise includes audit documentation review, risk identification, financial analysis, expenditure verification, and strengthening accountability and transparency in institutional financial management.
Prior to his current professional engagement, Mr. Monikandan served as an Accounts Manager at DMI St. Eugene University, Zambia, where he managed university financial operations, budgeting, payroll reporting, statutory compliance, bank reconciliation, student account management, and audit coordination for over six years.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an Accounts Executive at SM Marains Advances Gear Boxes India Pvt Ltd, India, handling accounting records, VAT and TDS preparation, financial statements, reconciliations, and internal financial controls. He also served as a Billing Executive at RevenueMed India Private Limited, where he specialized in medical billing and insurance claim processing for American patients.
Mr. Monikandan holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and is currently pursuing ACCA and Master of Commerce (M.Com) to further strengthen his professional expertise in finance, accounting, and auditing.
